Overview:
Pediatric Gastroenterology for the Primary Care Practitioner is designed to improve competency and patient outcomes in managing clinical issues that affect the gastrointestinal system of infants, children and adolescents. Evidence-based lectures from the Atlantic Health System pediatric gastroenterology faculty and others will keep attendees up to date on high-yield gastroenterology topics that are commonly encountered in the primary care setting, such as abdominal pain, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, and liver disease. Clinical management considerations and indications for referral to subspecialist providers is addressed.
