Suzanne Quinn, MSN, RN, CCRN-CMC

Suzanne Quinn has been with Atlantic Health System for 27 years and is currently a Clinical Specialist for Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute at Morristown Medical Center (MMC). She was previously an Assistant Nurse Manager/Educator in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) for Overlook Medical Center (OMC) for 8 years. Suzanne provides clinical support and education at MMC for the CCU, Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Cardiac Access & Observation, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Pacemaker Clinic, Telemetry Monitor Technicians, and Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation in Morristown. Suzanne has been involved in many initiatives surrounding cardiac arrest and cardiogenic shock, including training for cardiac arrest resuscitation, intraosseous device insertion, targeted temperature management, and the roll out of Impella ventricular assist devices at OMC and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) at MMC. Suzanne is certified in her specialty of adult critical care medicine and sub-specialty of cardiac medicine and completed her master’s degree in nursing education at Drexel University. She is currently focused on quality and performance improvement, nursing education and training, cardiac emergency preparedness, targeted temperature management and mechanical support for cardiogenic shock. This is the third year that Suzanne has been the lead planner for the Interventional Cardiology Symposium.
