Shazad L. Shaikh, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, with a subspecialty certificate in Sports Medicine. He is a member of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Bridgewater. Dr Shaikh’s clinical interests include sports injuries, shoulder and knee arthroscopy, knee ligament reconstruction, meniscus tears, rotator cuff tears, and cartilage restoration.
Further, Dr. Shaikh’s has served as head team physician for the Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railriders, Triple-A affiliate of the NY Yankees, and assistant team physician for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, a Pittsburgh Penguins American Hockey League affiliate.
