Rahul Narang MD, FACS, FASCRS

Rahul Narang, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a colon and rectal surgeon with Atlantic Health. He is board-certified in colon and rectal surgery by the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery and in surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He has more than 10 years of experience diagnosing and treating conditions of the lower digestive tract, including colon cancer, rectal cancer, diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and anorectal diseases. He brings a wealth of experience in robotic, laparoscopic and open colorectal surgery, and is adept at performing colon resections, colostomy closure, minimal invasive surgery, reconstructive surgery for IBD, as well as treating rectal cancer and anorectal diseases and managing functional bowel problems, including incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. He provides compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensures they are educated about their condition and treatment. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, focusing on colorectal cancer, immunomodulation therapy and surgical outcomes. He is a fellow of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS) and the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He has a patient-centered approach to care and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
