Dr. Généreux is an interventional cardiologist and internationally recognized leader in structural heart disease and complex coronary interventions. He has been a practicing interventional cardiologist for more than 15 years. Dr. Généreux is the Medical Director of the Structural Heart Program at Morristown Medical Center. Dr. Généreux has served as the primary or co-investigator on more than 20 clinical trials and has published more than 300 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the Principal Investigators of the EARLY TAVR trial and the PROGRESS trial, 2 major studies in the field of aortic valve disease. A celebrated researcher since the beginning of his career, he was awarded the prestigious Thomas J. Linnemeier Spirit of Interventional Cardiology Young Investigator Award at the 2012 Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) scientific symposium. For the last 3 years, Dr Genereux has been named one of world’s most highly cited researchers by the Clarivate™ Web of Science™ Group.
Dr. Généreux received his medical degree from the Université de Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada and performed his interventional cardiology and structural heart fellowship at Columbia University, and Cardiovascular Research Foundation, in New York City.
