Learning Objectives:

This course is designed to improve performance in timely evaluation, imaging selection, and referral of foot and ankle injuries to reduce missed diagnoses and delays of care.

The course will feature keynote speaker Kimberly Koury, MD, with an introduction from Atlantic Health’s Medical Director of Orthopedics, Nicholas Avallone, MD.

After participation, the learner should be better able to:
•Implement evidence-based referral criteria.
•Differentiate ankle sprain from syndesmotic or Achilles injury.
•ID commonly missed foot and ankle injuries.
