Learning Objectives:
After participation, the learner should be better able to:

Assess the needs of a critically ill patient, identifying the most pressing problems
Discuss which diagnostic test is necessary for various clinical scenarios
Recognize subtle changes in a patient's condition and respond appropriately, potentially preventing further deterioration
Apply strategies on how to recognize life-threatening conditions and initiate appropriate interventions, including basic life support and advanced airway management

Physicians (including residents and fellows), Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Clinical Pharmacists involved in the stabilization and management of the critically ill patient
