Dr. Taiwo T. Ajumobi DO. MS.
Pediatric Resident and Co Author of AAP Council’s Policy Statement on Digital Ecosystems, Children, and Adolescents, Atlantic Health Goryeb Children’s Hospital
Dr Taiwo Ajumobi is currently a pediatric resident at Atlantic Health Goryeb Children's Hospital in Morristown, NJ. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Communications and Media (COCM) and is one of the co-authors of the Council’s latest AAP Policy Statement and Technical Report: Digital Ecosystems, Children, and Adolescents published this year. Dr. Ajumobi is a two-time AmeriCorps volunteer and currently serves as an Atlantic Health Graduate Medical Education Committee Resident Council Member and a Resident Liaison for New Jersey’s National Medical Association chapter. A lover of research, she is currently working on a QI project related to Asthma workflow at Goryeb Children’s Hospital. She has op-ed and peer review publications in The DO, MD Advisor, Pediatrics, MedLink, JSNMA, Contemporary Pediatrics, ABC News, and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Voices Blog. When she has spare time, Dr. Ajumobi likes spending time with family and friends, supporting her husband’s love of homemade smoothies, and writing up more adventures for Ife, her main character in her Children’s book series: Ife’s Adventures as told by Dr. Tee-Tee.
